A very hard book to read.4
This is the very, very sad story of a little girl's life on a farm, with her step father who is a very cruel man, and her mother who is not much better, it tell's the story (quite graphically) of the sexual, mental and physical abuse this girl went through from when she was little more than a baby, it's not a "nice" book to read, but in fairness I don't think "nice" is the word meant for this book, it's very hard to read at times and had me in tears thinking what this child went through with no-one to help her. I read the book a week ago and I still get a lump in my throat when I think of her life with the people who were supposed to protect her.

Inspiring and Amazing5
This book is one of the most amazing books that I have ever read and would recommend it to everyone, I leant it to one of my friends and she felt the same as I do. Although I was slightly worried at first that I would be confused by the number of personalities this book was written in a way that lead to a complete understanding into their formation. Although a tough read with all that happened in her early years, it is a brilliantly heart rendering insight, which is all the more poignant if experienced at any degree first hand. A book that I think is well worth a place in anyones bookcase.

Very emotional!5
Well written. Probably an eye opener for people who do not know about or accept some of the worst types of child abuse and what it can do. Trudi (& troops) must be complimented not only for telling her (their) story but for the honest and yet tactful way it was told. I would recomend reading this book AND having a friend to discuss it with! Thank you Trudi and Troops
