Interesting read
This book was interesting once it got going, at the beginning I didn't enjoy it. It had lots of historical facts about WW2 in it and was an interesting idea for a book because in most WW2 books, the brothers and Dads are fighting in the war, but in this book, Josie's brother is a Consciencious Objector and therefore not fighting.
The book is about a girl called Josie who goes to stay with her Aunty Grace and cousin Edith whilst her Mother is visiting her Grandmother, who has broken her hip in the blackout. Soon Josie is joining in with the local children. But is what they are doing right or not?
Excellent book part of a set
My daughter and I read the first in this series whilst on holiday in the summer and we both enjoyed it. REally looking forward to reading this one.
