Ohhh how I LOVE this author!!
Corley has delivered four excellent titles to date, 'Grave Doubts', 'Requiem Mass', 'Fatal Legacy', and 'Innocent Blood'. All of which have kept me glued to my seat to finish them because it was just sheer torture to put them down, and think what would be happening next.

Fatal Legacy is about corruption and murder, within a large well known family run buisness. Fenwick is on the case again, which he was given to 'clear up quickly' until he finds more than he bargained for. Fenwick will find that pursueing this case, will bring horrors a little to close to home.

More dead bodies from the same family and company are popping up. Prostitutes being murdered are being linked into the whole fiasco also. A 'Who Dunnit' theme, tied in with a bit of cluedo.

Fatal Legacy will keep you guessing for a long time, and then you may find yourself with the wrong answers.

A great book, and a great author. I look forward to more from Elizabeth Corley.

A definite page-turner
I have read the previous works of this author and was mildly disappointed to find that this was not a continuation, but a prequel to the current Fenwick series.

Despite this, the plot was excellent and the pace thrilling. This is another must-read from Corley.

Slightly disappointed!
Have to admit, having read "Grave Doubts" with much enjoyment, I was looking forward to another Elizabeth Corley book. I didn't find this one anywhere near as gripping, however, and was slightly disappointed.

It seemed to consist too much of straightforward police work, rather than the more compelling story line of Grave Doubts. Nonetheless, I'll try another one to see if my confidence is restored!
