Product Description

Lucy is bored with her love life. She has been dating Anthony Brown for a year but she's still not sure he is The One - she's young, there are plenty more fish in the sea, especially the cute boy in the newsagent's who keeps smiling at her. Modern men seem so useless - she wants a real romantic hero instead. When Lucy is sacked from her job as PA to a scientist, she retaliates by stealing the prototype for a time travel machine her boss is working on. Of course, she can't resist seeing if it works ...And so Lucy heads back in time to meet the world's most famous lovers, including Byron and Casanova. Can they capture her heart, or has the true love of her life been under her nose the whole time?

DIFFERENT FROM YOUR AVERAGE CHICK LIT!!5
The book is fab!!! It is so different from your usual chick lit. I was wondering if the timemachine idea might seem a little outrageous, but it was well written and made it seem quite a credible idea. This book kept me gripped from the start, and throughout there were surprises which caused me to gasp out loud and look stupid in front of people in public!! I loved the cultural references to famous artists and poets, and the countries she visits. The authour is clearly well educated and that makes for a great book. I will be buying other books she has written.

An interesting idea...:)4
I love Deborah's style of writing; she is funny, sharp and witty. This is a book which requires a suspension of reality (as we know it) and a huge leap in imagination.

Each of Lucy's little journeys provides a lesson (in life) in itself and the main character (Lucy) handles these with aplomb, hilarity and a smidgeon of cynicism.

In tune with this, as with The Rebel Fairy, you are offered some insight into other forms of culture (Shakespeare, poetry, art) which I suppose in its own way adds to the books appeal.

Deborah, as another reviewer already said, if you're reading this, well done and more please :)

Clever and witty5
Perfect holiday reading. I really enjoyed this book and have now purchased 'Love Eternally'. I really liked the style of writing. I must admit I wasn't too sure about the Time machine aspect at first, I thought it might end up being a bit too silly, so I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. A very clever and imaginative book - well done Deborah.
