About the Author
Helen Black was brought up in a mining town in West Yorkshire. She moved to London in her twenties and trained to be a commercial lawyer. On qualification she shifted lanes and has practised criminal and family law for over ten years. She specialises in representing children in the care system. She now lives in Bedfordshire with her husband and young children.

i loved the second book from helen, the interaction between lily and jack gets better and now she's pregnant with his child, how fab is that??. lily is a tough cookie with a soft centre, divorced with a young son she manages to hold down a full time job whilst being a single parent and also being a chocohlic. the story trips along nicely, with just enough description to keep you interested, and not thinking to yourself , just get on with it. great stuff, go buy a copy!

A very thought provoking story, good story and I liked the characters. Very easy to read.

Easy reading.
Really enjoyed this book. Was first book of Helen Black's I've read since following a recommendation. Was a good clear story, without too many complications. Read it in a weekend with no probs. Not a book that you need to concentrate too much or read half the book to get 'into it'. Redommended.
