A fantastic story line, don't be out off by the blurb!
Reading the blurb I was not particularly keen, but I was looking for something new so I though 'Why not?' After reading only a few pages, I knew my first thoughts were wrong because the story is so much more complex than it appears. The story was based on a myth, but at the same time there is plenty of reality with characters you can relate to. Having the two together in one story is such a excellent idea, and the way they are brought together through the works of evil create all the suspense needed to make this a book that you can't put down!
A fantastic book!
This book grabs your attention right from the start. It is about a boy who is fascinated by the computer game his dad is working on, but he and his dad realise too late that the game has a mind of its own, and it is evil! The boy, Pheonix, and his friend Laura get trapped in the world of the Greek myths and must battle against the snake-haired Medusa and the rampaging Minotaur to beat the game and return to their own world. There are many twists and turns in the plot, some quite gruesome, and each chapter leaves you in suspense and wanting more. It is a great book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes an exciting read.
Shadow of the Minotaur is great
Shadow of the Minotaur is a really enthusiastic book. It is all about Myths and legends and two different worlds and a bridge to one another through a computer.Phoenix finds himself in a game that seems so real but yet it isn't,or is it?.This book is the type that no matter what happens you don't want to put it down,it's great.Read it if you dare!
