Product Description

Teggs Stegosaur is a brand new pupil at the Astrosaur Academy where all astro-cadets go to complete their training. He hopes to become an ASTROSAUR one day but for now he has classes to attend, missions to complete and lessons to learn. His new best friends and roommates, Blink and Dutch, are always his first choice for fun - but also to work with on his homework! Together they make a great team - the Daring Dinos! The cadets are on their first mission to Quarrik - a deserted wilderness - where they have to build a camp and discover something exciting and unusual to take back to the academy for show-and-tell. But, when a T. rex ship crash-lands in the middle of their mission, only the Daring Dinos can stop their fellow cadets from becoming dino-dinner...

From the Back Cover
It's the coolest school in space!

Young Teggs Stegosaur is a pupil at ASTROSAURS ACADEMY - where dinosaurs train to be ASTROSAURS. With his best friends Blink and Dutch beside him, amazing adventures and far-out fun are never far away!

Arriving at the academy, the new astro-cadets face their first mission - to camp out in a deserted space wilderness and bring back something exciting for show-and-tell. But the sneaky tricks of a rival team mean big trouble for Teggs, Blink and Dutch - especially when a T.rex ship crash-lands close by with a VERY hungry crew...

From the bestselling author of Astrosaurs and Cows in Action.

About the Author
Born in 1971, Steve Cole spent a happy childhood in rural Bedfordshire being loud and aspiring to amuse. He liked books, and so went to the University of East Anglia to read more of them. Later on he started writing them too, with titles ranging from pre-school poetry to Young Adult thrillers (with more TV and film tie-ins than he cares to admit to along the way). In other careers he has been the editor of Noddy magazine, the voice of a Dalek and an editor of fiction and nonfiction book titles for various publishers.

Customer Reviews

Hooked!5
Our 4 year old son is completely hooked on the Astrosaurs Academy books. We'd had enough of reading picture books to him and decided that it was time to move onto something with chapters... will we can't read them quick enough for him. He remembers the stories and asks that we go back and read specific chapters. There are just enough pictures to use to back up / discuss the story. I can see that when he starts reading himself these will soon end up dog-eared from being read so many times.
This morning he even said he'd had a dream about getting the next book (shame it's not out until February!)

Really Exciting!5
This book is one of the most exciting books I have ever read! My favorite part is the happy but still very exciting end. I think the cards are extremely funny and interesting.
