Synopsis
The sixties was an era when pop music embraced psychedelia, creating a new awareness of adolescence. Kelvin Holmes has compiled a celebration of music over a wide spectrum, creating "family trees", and documenting chart successes in the UK and USA. Among others, he looks at the Animals, the Byrds, the Kinks, the Beach Boys, Manfred Mann, the Zombies, Steve Miller, the Small Faces, the Searchers, the Troggs, Move, the Mojos, the Hollies, Canned Heat, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Dion, Procol Harum, Them, and the McCoys.

A great read informative and enjoyable
For such a low price I was suprised at how much detail and work had gone into this book. It increased my understanding of 60s music whilst at the same time being funny and well researched.
