A True Excellent Classical Epic
This is a truly great movie that tells the story of the beginning of the Muslim Religion, Islam. This movie insures that it does not offend anyone and adheres to the Islamic Culture where pictures of any of the Prophets are prohibited, however you can sense the presence of Prophet Mohammed with the excellent use of music which send a chill down your spine.

The historical facts in this epic are accurate with excellent camera work. This is one movie that can be viewed over and over again and should be, to truly appreciate and understand the message of it. The first time I watched it I was amazed to find that this Epic was made just before I was born, and I was really puzzled why its not one of the all time Great's such as The Ten Commandments, Ben Hur, or Lawrence of Arabia. Anthony Quinn as Hamza (the Prophet Mohammed's Uncle) is an outstanding Performance and in my eyes his best.

As a Muslim this has given me great and further insight in to the historical beginning of my religion. For a non-Muslim this will give you great and further insight in to what Islam is, while viewing a very entertaining movie which can be viewed repeatedly and will stand the test of time. The Message also reminds you of one very important fact, the Word of God has not changed, Man Has!

An Epic Masterpiece.....
If you lke the old classic epics, you'll love this one, Anthony Quinn is marvellous and the battle sequences are stunning.

A must see for muslims and those genuinly interested
A very historically correct and passionate film about a topic very dear to our hearts. It covers the subject well and does not indulge in the rewriting of history practiced in most Hollywood films. This is no doubt due to the Muslim director and the strict adherence to Islamic traditions.
