A Curious little movie3
I Saw this on Amazon and I was fascinated because it was an action film with Lewis Collins in it. I have just got into The Proffessionals so I bought it. Well I was a little disappointed, the script is weak in places and everything progresses in a by-the numbers fashion. But Collins makes a solid hero (He would have made a good 007 but he turned the part down) and Kinski is a great Villain. At 15 million Swiss Franks it wasn't a cheap film, the gunfights and stunts are all top knotch but the script is sub-standard. Really this is a film for Collins fans, I don't no who else it would appeal to.

Action all the way4
I was surprised and delighted when I saw this film available on DVD. It is a truly great action film, non-stop from start to finish. Carrasco (Lewis Collins) leads a band of revolutionaries against a corrupt government in Latin American, fighting against Silvero (Klaus Kinski)and his army. The storyline is a little weak in places, but the score and action make up for it. There is also a good supporting cast performances from Manfred Lehman and Cristina Donadio. However the special features on this DVD are terrible, there is a mashed together 'Making of' documentary with is in part english and german and repeats the same footage over again.

Hhhmmmnn1
What happened to Lewis Collins career, back in the late 70s early 80s he was a huge tv star and being touted as the next Bond...a role he was born to play. So what does he go and do,he winds up Cubby Brocoli, loses the Bond gig and then bangs a out a trio of Euro action flicks that would have Chuck Norris blushing. Of the three this is definately the worst, zero budget badly directed, badly plotted along with a terrible Morricone score, im just baffled why Anchor Bay took a punt on this turkey.
