A- A future world after a sightly incomplete "end of days", the story revolves around a hidden mage. Compelling imagery, good mystery and well written characters. Ticks virtually all the boxes.

A- Only one book so far, but it was a cracking start. A strongly developed mystery, characters, with a strong does of action and a hint of romance. Ending was maybe a touch weak, but anticipating #2

B+ Strongly centred around romance, the books combine mystery with action. Ticks most boxes, just didn't leave me hanging out for each subsequent book.

A- Another first book, the story is a strong one with a main character who keeps getting up despite the trials she has. Strong mystery, with decent action & romance. Interesting magic system.

B+ Slightly YA, and slightly short. But very good series with a real fairy tale feel to it. As in, old style fairy tale. :)

B Definitely a YA feel, but a good series. Centres around a young teenager, who finds out there is magic in the world. Very action orientated, and the surprises a little obvious. But good yarns.

C- I read, but a bit 'bleh' over this series. Lots of sex, slow resolution of story lines, and a holier than thou, I'm always right/know better heroine.

B- The series is allright, and the authour draws you in. Very action orientated and so is quite loose with reason/world rules at time. Not for someone into strong world building, but a quick thrill.

B- One of those ditzy characters who makes a lot of mistakes, without it quite being funny. Still, a good read with enough mystery and fun to keep reading them. But can be irritating.

B+ Good story centering around an intriguing central character, just coming into her family's version of adolesence. Good read, but not groundbreaking in any way.
