	Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke Buy new: £6.97 / Used from: £0.01 I couldn't get on with this myself - it never quite drew me in - but I know lots of people who loved it. I liked the pseudo-Victorian spelling, footnotes and all that though.
	Fingersmith by Sarah Waters Buy new: £4.49 / Used from: £0.01 Absolutely fantastic. As gripping and surprising as any Wilkie Collins, but with a moving and intriguing relationship impossible to write at the time.
