A gripping and intriguing plot set in a world largely influenced by the language, customs and history of Russia.

Third and final addition to Sarah Ash's trilogy - very fast-paced and exciting, and thankfully not burdended by the clichéd happy ending.

Great follow-up to The Gift - like the first book, I love that the characters travel all round Croggon's created world. The map's there for a reason, as is not always the case!

Great continuation of the Obsidian Trilogy - by this time I had grown used to the rather clichéd evil forces that had initially disappointed me in the first book.

Great sequel to The Curse of the Mistwraith - I was worried about starting such a long series, but have found that it has not once dipped in quality. A fantastic read!

Lirael is a great sequel to Sabriel, but I was disappointed that the main characters of the first book are not present in this book apart from a quick sighting =(

If you haven't read the Lord of the Rings yet, I really suggest you read this one first. It's a great introduction to Middle Earth and is just as good, perhaps even better than the Lord of the Rings.

This is one of those mass market series that turned out to be good - be warned though, it's like reading J.K Rowling in that the writing's not great, but the story is thrilling.

In this you'll find a surprising twist in the story, but a great conclusion to the trilogy.
