Awesome for 360 and Wii HD gaming.
I bought myself an xbox 360 day after boxing day and felt really left out running it on my 15" portable (50hz) in my bedroom.
After ALOT of reserch i decided to buy this Samsung 19" LCD TV in Glossy white (it looks awesome)and WHAT a buy it was! Using the Official HD VGA Cable for the 360 (bought seperatly for £16.99) i am now running Gears of War in the TV's native resolution of 1400x900 (16:10 Widscreen very slightly stretched vertically) @ 8ms which is better quality then 720p! (this TV does support progressive scan via HD VGA or DVI)
The picture quality is superb and it has made my gaming experience and movie watching experience greatly improved, I have compared the picture quality to my Dads 42" Panasonic HD Plasma and apart from sheer size the picture quality is well on par minus the glossy plasma effect.
This TV is perfect for running HD Games on your 360 and even tho it stats on the official website that it is not HD ready due to no composite or HDMI connections it does support upto 720p from any HD device that has a DVI or VGA connection lead so that would include Sky HD, Xbox 360 with HD Drive and Nintendo Wii for 480p! And its white so it looks awesome next to my Wii and 360.
One thing to point out is that the TV Tuner is abit dodgy while using a portable aerial so i would suggest getting a direct feed to it from a cable/sky box or fixed outdoor aerial for a perfect TV Picture or maybe try an indoor aerial booster via Freeview for a much better picture which i have tested and it was alot better if not perfect but i do not watch much TV anyways :)
The Sound could be louder but i just like the noise my chainsaw makes on Gears of War lol but for movie watching in the bedroom its more then loud enough for 30 watts but it does have a phono jack output so you could connect external powered speakers if you like your sound heavy.
all in all a very good product hence 5 stars.

I bought this tv/monitor to replace my old 15" monitor. A point to note is that you cannot connect your computer to this TV via the DVI which is disappointing - DVD's etc. on your PC cannot be viewed digitally. Other than this, it serves as a brilliant monitor. The size is great and it looks fantastic.
I have a poor aerial so cannot really comment on the TV quality, but I do agree with the last review that the colours aren't brilliant (auto settings are pretty basic) and the sound is indeed tinny (I sometimes connect the TV to my hi-fi via the headphone socket, but this becomes tiresome and I often don't bother.)
In terms of value, it is only really £[...] more expensive than a standard 19" monitor, has a TV tuner and looks great so it comes recommended.
After 2 months, I've turned this TV HD
Now listen up guys, I was looking at a TV for my xbox 360 and saw this, asking around I was wondering if this TV was HD, my mates noticed the huge resolution on this and said it simply had to be HD!
I brought this TV from amazon at Christmas time, I unwrapped it and it looked beautiful, and it wasn't even turned on!
BUT, then, looking at the back of the screen I noticed there wasn't the normal composite (scart addons) of the provided HD cable you get with the Xbox 360, so I was playing with a just the scart lead in the back, and to be completely honest it looked absolutely terrible, pixelated, and ugly blurry colours made this a terrible purchase and I was wanting to take it back, and never look at its horrible screen ever again, even my 14 inch 3 year old tv was better than this!
Then my xbox broke and I left the whole thing for 2 months before swapping it, I didn't have the time too, and it really wasn't that great playing on this screen. But as I did, one of my friends asked if my TV had a VGA connection, when I said yes, he pointed to the official Xbox 360 VGA HD cable and told me that I had to get this! So 20 quid lighter I was wondering what I was doing with this cable and I was sure that it wouldn't make much difference to my viewing. But I was SOOOOO wrong, now, my TV is one of the best purchases I have ever had! That cable saved my 300 quid TV and 300 quid Xbox from being a terrible experience, it really has changed my gaming life around! Its truly beautiful!
Get one of these, and a HD VGA cable, and theres no way you will be disappointed with this, you can set the resolution to 1,280 x 720, which is 720p! and its amazing!
Still blown away right now, I recently turned it back to just the normal scart resolution and was almost sick, so please, please just know, that there's so much difference between normal and HD, and this TV is a brilliant example!
