Cool As Ice!
Having just bought the new iPod Nano (4th Gen), I desperately wanted a case to stop it getting scratched.
I chose this case over a coloured fabric/leather case because what's the point in getting a fab coloured iPod if you're going to hide it away?!
The case comes in two parts and snaps shut around your iPod. It fits snuggly but not so tight it would be hard to remove.
It has a space at the top for access to the Hold Switch and the bottom is open for access to the Dock Connector and the Headphone Port. There is also full acess to the Click Wheel.
The case is made from crystal clear plastic, which, as the product name suggests, looks like ice. The plastic is thick and sturdy - similar in fact to the plastic packaging case the iPod is sold in.
The only negative thing about this case is the price - £14.99 for a piece of plastic?! OK, it's a very stylish piece of plastic, but a piece of plastic none the less!
I feel the maximum price for this should be around £7 max but £4.99 would seem more reasonable.
The case also comes with a lanyard, but does anyone actually use those things?! Personally I won't be using that!
works fine for what it is
though the case is overpriced it does seem to get the job done, the tough plastic does provide extra protection whilst not hindering the ipods use. It has access to the the Hold Switch, Dock Connector and Headphone Port.
the real downside is the difficulty in getting it off, it needs sharp nails and brute force and this is necessary as dust eventually gets onto the screen.
However if the price came down, I would not advise against getting this, it works fine for what you need it to do.
dumb...
I've only had it on 10 minutes and it's got dust below it already. And how do you take it off? It appears to be totally sealed on and I can't work out how to remove it. There are no instructions on the box either. This is a rip-off!
Oh- it scratches quite quickly and is very reflective.
