Synopsis
MOST HAUNTED is the television series about the haunted houses of England, where spiritual medium Derek Acorah and investigative reporter Yvette Fielding come to visit, and sometimes stay overnight, running scientific tests and experiments in the hope of uncovering and proving the existence of supernatural activity. Enjoyable and value for money
I really enjoyed this DVD. I own all 11 series of MH and this is definately one of my favourite series. I prefer Derek Acorah in the earlier series of MH before all the amateur dramatics of the later series that see him allegedly possessed by evil spirits in nearly every episode (one that finally led to his downfall when he was accused of being a fake and exposed of faking a possession). This series really shows his gift, which I believe he has to some degree, especially on the lit walkarounds. Richard Felix the historian is great providing all the background story regard the location visited and is genuinely surprised and excited when Derek provides the same information from the spirit and physic world.
All in all an enjoyable DVD and great value for money with 10 locations being covered on 4 discs with extras.

Good value for money/ View it with tongue in cheek
This DVD is good value for money, with a fair few places being covered (ten locations in all). I prefer dvds featuring the psychic David Wells, (who comes across as a lot more honest and believeable), than Derek Acorah - who features in this particular DVD. We have the same old, "Did you hear THAT???" from Yvette and co, and try as you might you can't hear what they hear (ie "a moan, it was definitely a moan!!"), but all in all if you watch this DVD with tongue in cheek, it is really entertaining. Most of the phenomenon is pretty explainable, ie the crew chucking stones, tapping, moaning etc, but I find the light anomalies intriguing. One or two of the light anomalies are insects in the camera lights which, to be fair, IS pointed out by the team, but most are unexplainable, and to my mind not enough is made of these. Their Parapsychologist, Cieran O'Keeffe, rarely mentions them. All in all the dvd is very good value for money with ten locations featured and some bonus material.
