On 3 May 2008 Martin Finnegan was tragically killed at the Tandragee 100 in County Armagh. He was only twenty-nine when he died but he was already a road racing legend whose talent had earned him a place among the top riders. Affectionately known as the Flying Finn, Dublin-born Finnegan was one of the best-loved figures within the road-racing family as well as one of the most spectacular riders the sport most has ever known. In this stunning tribute written with the full cooperation of the family and containing over one hundred pictures, Stephen Davison - hailed by Motorcycle News as 'the world's number one pure road racing lensman' - tells the story of his friend and a road racing legend.

A brilliant symphony of pictures and words
Stephen Davison is the finest road racing photographer in the world, and this is his best book yet: a remarkable tribute to a remarkable rider, made even more evocative by the fact that Stephen and Martin Finnegan, the subject of the book, were close friends until the Flying Finn died in a 150mph crash in 2008.
One of the best loved figures in the road racing world, he could have wished for no finer tribute than this masterpiece, a fitting memorial to a hero from an admirer and a friend, filled with breathtaking images and heartfelt words.
Another 'BEAUTY' from Stephen Davison.
This is yet another terrific book with photographs of a standard only given to us by Stephen Davison. It is an intimate yet amusing profile of another of our now sadly missed Great riders, Martin Finnegan. To sum it up:fabulous pictures, concise information, truly another book you will never want to be parted from. A blast from start to finish. Marty in his Magic.
