Fantastic - white teeth for a white wedding!
I'm getting married soon and really wanted to have white teeth for the wedding and had just assumed (unhappily) that I would be paying a dentist an arm and a leg to have my mouth clamped open uncomfortably for hours for the privilege. Then I came across a brief mention of whitestrips and started googling. I read the wikipedia entry, as many reviews as I could and bit the bullet and ordered from Amazon. My order came a few days later and I started my home whitening. I should add I am fairly old with middle aged dirty old teeth from years of smoking (have given up now) and drinking red wine. coffee and tea.

I saw a difference after the very first session! I was really amazed. So far I haven't had time to use the strips more than once a day, but even after just 3 uses my teeth are noticeably whiter. I am absolutely delighted with this product and can't wait to dazzle people with my gleaming white smile on my big day! I've had no problems with sensitivity but have been using them as directed. I can't wait to finish the course and will probably trundle along just using them once a day.

If I was a dentist raking it in with tooth whitening services I would be shaking in my shoes!

UPDATE: I finished the whole course (using them a bit sporadically just once, not twice, a day) and had lovely white teeth for my wedding. They are still lovely and white 3 months later. If I ever think they need brightening up again I'll be straight back to this product. Have recommended them to loads of friends, and tried to make husband try them too...he's not vain enough though!

Brilliant results (if you can tolerate the pain) !!
My teeth weren't particularly discoloured to begin with but I thought they could do with an extra boost especially since the last time I visited my dentist he was trying to talk me into getting my teeth whitened. At a cost of over £300 I decided to opt for a cheaper version. They are really simple to use, and can even be used in the shower. You are told to keep them on for 30 minutes twice a day for a total of 10 days, however with a busy work schedule this can sometimes be tricky to achieve.

I had heard that people sometimes experienced pain when using these, mainly an increase in the teeths sensitivity, but since i'd never had a problem with sensitivty before I wasn't particularly concerned. I used them as directed for the first couple of days, twice a day for 30 minutes and noticed a difference immediately, my teeth were definitely whiter after just a couple of applications and I was over the moon. However as I got to the third day I started to get twinges in my teeth, it started in the morning before I got to work but as the day went on it got considerably worse. The sensitivity pain became unbearable and was constant throughout the entire day, it felt like a mixture of intense throbbing with a constant ache and the occasional sharp pain shooting through all my teeth like an electrical shot. I could barley speak, couldn't eat and it was even difficult to breathe through my teeth. I couldn't concentrate on my work because all I could think about was the pain in my teeth. I took pain killers which didnt help at all so I was forced to (not grin and bare it since I couldn't smile) but suffer through. I am not usually one to complain, but this was ridiculous. I really hoped that by the time I got home the pain would of worn off but by the time I went to bed it was still the same, and so I found it was the early hours before I managed to drop off.

The day after however the pain had gone completely (thank god) but although I wanted to carry on with the strips I left it for a couple of days before continuing. I also bought some Sensodyne toothpaste as I heard that this helps. Since then I have used one set of strips for 30 minutes every other day, whilst also using the toothpaste 3 times a day. I am happy to report that I have experienced no pain since(just the occasional twinge) and my teeth are increasingly whiter, I'm amazed by the difference and have even had compliments. Although it this has taken longer than 10 days I am extremely happy with the end results and glad that I haven't had the pain since.

So impressed with this product. Fits in perfectly with my inpatient personality, as the results are noticable straight away. I will continue to use this, Ive even got my boyfriend into it. A great buy, as it actually does work!!
