Customer Reviews
Gripping Read!!
This is one of the better Torchwood books - and i've read a few now!! The story keeps you gripped and the relationship between Captain Jack, Gwen and Ianto is written very well as they try to save the world from the Undertakers Gift even though theres just the 3 of them. The story comes together well at the end where all the little sub stories throughout the book all contribute to the end.
the Basis of the story is that a law company from the future want Jack assassinated and to destory present day earth as they feel torchwood havent been handling the rift well. they send the undertakers gift only torchwood dont exactly know what this is or what it looks like, all they know is that it will destroy the world and Jack is also kept on his toes knowing something or someone is going to try to kill him. the story is kept in suspense with the un-dead who are dressed up as a funeral procession and whats in the coffin they are carrying they makes even Gwen Cooper feel sick!!??
really good read and keeps you glued until the end
