Amazon.co.uk Review
The LEGO Star Wars A-Wing Fighter is a great replica of the "real thing" from the Star Wars movies. It has sleek lines, a cockpit windscreen which can raise up to let the pilot in or out, and twin swivelling blaster cannons on each wing. It also comes with its own little mechanic should you experience any technical difficulties.

The box suggests this toy is ideal for 7 to 12 year olds. It comes with LEGO's usual concise assembly booklet, very carefully illustrating the assembly process in 24 clear steps. This tester managed to follow the instructions without hiccup, and completed the assembly in approximately 20 minutes. (If an adult can do it, a 7- to 12-year-old-child can do it blindfolded!)

The LEGO Star Wars A-Wing Fighter is a key addition to any Star Wars fan's LEGO box. --Garreth Griffith

Out of this world!4
First appearing in Return of the Jedi, the A-Wing is a super-fast fighter that is used in the assault on the Death Star. LEGOs miniture version is remarkably accurate, and goes together in a matter of minutes. I am always amazed at how a pile of coloured blocks can be made to resemble anything from a football stadium to a spaceship, but LEGO have done it again. Assembly is foolproof, as the well illustrated instructions guide you carefully through each step in the process. All said, it took me about fifteen minutes from start to end, and I was rewarded with a fine looking peice of kit. Essential for fans of Star Wars, or LEGO, or both, the A-Wing comes highly recommended. Who knows, you could even buy one for the kids. Next on my wish list, is the LEGO moviemaker set. Add an A-Wing and a few other Star Wars kits, and I'll be recreating some of classic scenes from the films. Action!

Lego branching out4
for years i wanted lego to make everything, including star wars, but this type of lego isn't lego, its models, theres no imagination, no experementation, its an assembly kit. its quick to buld and the peases are great, but unless you want to experement, i'd buy the model, as lego its just not lego.
