About the Author
Mary Herczog lives in Los Angeles and works in the film industry when she’s not writing Las Vegas For Dummies, Los Angeles & Disneyland® For Dummies, Frommer’s New Orleans, and one–half of California For Dummies — you can never have too much of a good thing, something she learned in Vegas (although she still doesn’t know how to play craps).
Customer Reviews
Great book
Well worth the money!
A great guide to Vegas and it's in's and out's.
The Hoover dam tour is a must, fantastic sight.
Good tips on gambling, although it's difficult to control yourself when you get going!
The Hotels on the strip are all well worth veiwing. It'll take a few days just to do this.
EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY
IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN OR PLANNING TO GO TO LAS VEGAS THEN THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU.
A TRULY EXCELLENT AND INFORMATIVE BOOK.
I'M AFFRAID TO SAY IT DOES NOT GIVE YOU TIPS FOR WINNING THE JACKPOT.
BUT THERE IS PLENTY OF GREAT TIPS WITH AMUSING FACTS.
more pics!
This book really has a lot of information in it; good restaurant guides etc and I don't think I will need to buy another guide book. The best part for me is how to tour the major hotels on the strip in a oner. However, I would have liked some photos as I haven't been to Las Vegas yet (going in november!)and I would have liked to visualise my trip more whilst reading the book.
