Product Description
This umbrella is unlike any other. Not only does it look different with its sleek and futuristic styling... its also wind resistant to gale force 10 thats 40 mph or 60 km per hour. Regular umbrellas are great at keeping you dry, but as soon as the wind whips up, they pop inside out leaving you to wrestle them back into shape as you get seriously sodden. The Senz Windproof Umbrella has a unique shape which means it effortlessly slices through the wind without inverting, leaving you as dry as a bone underneath. Features include: Aerodynamic shape - turns into the wind instead of struggling against it Short front means you get the perfect view from underneath Thick umbrella shaft for extra strength Unique flat eyesavers protect your (and other peoples!) eyes Folds down to just 26cm, so easily fits in a bag The Stealth Umbrella comes in black, and is sure to turn heads wherever you go !

Oh dear
I couldn't be more disappointed with this product. My wife had taken it out for just the second time, got caught by a gust of wind (the type that this umbrella is apparently designed to withstand) and two ferrules bent tearing the fabric in the process. Maybe this particular umbrella was the bad one of the batch (as can sometimes happen) but personally I would not recommend this.
Rubbish
I have already written a review about this product, however Amazon has obviously decided not to publish it. I can only assume this is due to my extreme distaste for the senz compact... aka, worse umbarella I have ever have ever used.... Firstly, It lasted just a couple of uses before the hinges sheered, it comes apart everytime you fold it up as the ends are not fixed oh and you actually feel really stupid using it, as despite looking rather cool on the pictures, trust me, it most certainly isnt when your walking down the street with people laughing at you, as it looks broken....
Its actually manufactured by totes, which despite having owned a nimber of compact and ultra compact totes brollies have never found a trully usable one.
Do not buy this as you will regret it....
I do wish my review was positive as I love out side the box thinking and radically different design, and being an industrial designer know how difficult it is to create something different, however this is not different it is actually just rubbish....
Amazon.... Despite my negative review and the impact this could have on sales, I do expect you to publish this!!! After all there is such a thing as freedom of speech...!!!!
Not bad, not great
I bought this more for hillwalking, following good comments on an outdoors site. It's pretty compact, but not tiny, and it does seem to stand up to a fair amount of wind as long as it's pointing in the right direction.
However, one of the two I have developed a bent spoke for no apparent reason, meaning it wouldn't work properly. The retailer (Firebox) replaced it quickly, though, which was great.
Having now used it for hillwalking, it certainly beats putting on an outer layer for all but serious rain, and it's strength gives you some comfort in the inevitable winds in the hills. I'll keep using it, but if it breaks again then I'll just put it down as a good idea poorly executed and buy something cheaper instead.
You do get some odd looks because of the shape, but that really doesn't bother me as I know that this umbrella is more likely to cope with gusts of wind than probably anything else out there.
