About the Author

Bet McCallum is an educational researcher at the Institute of Education. She has been involved in research with Caroline Gipps on the introduction of National Assessment, teachers assessment practice and the assessment, teaching and feedback strategies of primary teachers. Eleanore Hargreaves is a lecturer in evaluation and assessment and a research officer at the Institute of Education, London

This book is one of the best books I've ever read in assessment. The authers wrote about how to implement and use formative assessment in order to be a good primary teacher. The use formative feedback was very well presented. It encourages teachers to use assessment in order to enhance pupils' achievement.
