Product Description

This work features AA's expert road mapping, presented in an A3 format atlas using an ultra large scale of 1:100,000 (1.5 miles to 1 inch). It provides essential information for truck and lorry drivers, with more relevant map detail than any other road atlas. Each page has been titled with its geographical location so you can turn to the page you need more easily. Static speed camera locations are pinpointed on the mapping in addition to a mobile speed camera listing. Also, essential information for truck and lorry drivers is included with a truckstop and roadside cafe directory, most 'bashed' bridges identified, Channel Tunnel and terminal maps, plus information on how to use the National Grid. More than 5,000 low bridges are identified on A roads, B roads and minor roads and all narrow minor roads are depicted.

AA truckers atlas5
for the more traditional trucker (who wont use satnav), this is the best bit of kit to hit the market recently. unlike the FTA version, this does not focus solely on low bridges. it has weak bridges, congestion hot spots (including seasonal ie holiday traffic with dates), truckstops (including prices and facilities) and speed camera locations. it even lists certain buildings which can be used as landmarks. it is quite easily the most superior road atlas for the professional driver and it is likely to remain so for a long time to come.

easy read5
thought i'd grab this one while on offer at half price. Brilliant buy woudn't have minded paying full price for it.It's so easy to read compared to smaller atlases. not only does it cover bridge heights it covers width + weight restrictions as well as a good selection of truck stops +overnight parking fees. The only problem I have with this atlas is the poor quality of the spiral binding [easily bends which could cause pages to tear when turning]other than this its a great buy.

Excellent - Should be in every trucker's bag.5
The level of information is far beyond any other atlas aimed at truckers that I've ever seen. As per the other reviews, plus stuff like if a fuelling station is open 24hrs or not (accurate at time of publishing of course).

I have the slightly heavier hardback version (not on amazon) for added durability.

Rugged, informative, accurate, excellent.
