    A sturdy budget system4
I bought this unit for the low price and have to say I am very impressed with it. As far as I can tell it does all the things the £200 models can do. On navigation it's only let me down badly once but 99% of the time I can trust it implicitly. One only thing against it is the touchscreen menu navigation is confusing and really does take a while to get used to.

Buy Medion at your own risk1
I have owned 2 Medion Sat Navs/PDAs (one of which I was given).

In my view they are cheap for a reason and buying one proves to be false economy longer term.

I have spent so much time trawling websites for fixes/information on faults, on the phone to customer services and spending money on replacement batteries etc that I would be better of buying a superior suppliers model. Both Sat Navs are beyond economical repair and I used them in total about 15 times - what a waste of time and money.

If you buy one familiarise your self with the Medion website, message boards and the reset button.

    Utter rubbish

    My Medion SatNav is great5
I have owned a Medion PPC150 for quite a while now and have found it absolutely brilliant. I use it for its PDA capabilities as much as a SatNav.
It sits on the dashboard of my car and always picks up a GPS signal, even in bad weather when I would expect it to fail. It is a sturdy piece of equipment and has never let me down. I have never been lost since I got it but I would be lost without it. It is as good as any of the well known makes and a lot less money.
    Definitely a good investment.
