Truly useless1
Basically a hundred pages of big arty photos with extremely little information. Strictly only for people who have unlimited money to spend in the city, only frequent Selfridges or Harrods and who probably will take taxis all over Tokyo. Escapes section sums it up: "Cassiopeia, a reassuringly expensive sleeper train..."
Read this in 10 mins and then straight in the bin.

I do not agree with the last review of this guide, this range of books is not meant to be a traditional travel guide, its a book that basically tells you about the cool little places that would not normally be in a guide book, its aimed at people who want to stray away from the normal tourist locations.

Yes I agree that some of the hotels recommenced might be out of most peoples budget but for food, bars ect I think this is very cool.
