From the Publisher
There has been a lot of talk in recent years about improving the way we learn languages and the way we learn in general, to make it better suit the way our brains operate. Learning in rhythm, using repetition to anchor information, learning complete meaningful chunks of language instead of single words, using music to put the learner in the optimal state of conciousness for learning (relaxed but receptive), these are some of the strategies of accelerated learning.
Now, for the first time all of these approaches have been unified into one powerful learning package which make acquiring a language easy, effective and enjoyable
From the Author
Most people don't like to spend hours on end pondering over language textbooks, but they do like to listen to music. I realised quite early on that music is the ideal medium for teaching ,especially languages. My students really love to work with this sytem. They often memorise 100% of the material and it stays in their long-term memory ready for instant recall. We all have this ability. I am sure you too remember song lyrics from way back, even though you don't particularly want to...Voulez-vous coucher.... see what I mean!
This system of learning is easy, effective, fun and motivating through the real rapid progress you make.

rapid greek vol one
i rate this cd and book for those learners who find languages in general difficult. if you don't want the hassle of the verbs and pronouns and just want to learn some phrases to get by QUICK then this is the one for you. i like the way you have the chance to repeat the phrases with the presenter many times. the music does make it easier and actually quite relaxing. i have a head start more than most with greek cypriot in-laws but i still rate it.
Well pleased
I got this not really expecting it to be any good but i have to admit it is great. The phrases stay in your head and you can rattle away in no time. I consider myself to be somewhat dim but the music helps you pick it up straight away. A bit like when you hear a favourite song on the radio and you just 'know' the words. Be really good for holidays. I love Greece and this is a really useful learning tool for getting by when over there.
Languages Made Easy!
I found putting music to learning a new language an easy way of picking up a new language. I listened to this cd mostly in the car with the children and was surprised how much we remembered. They asked for the bill in our local Greek restaurants, etc. The music jogs your memory much like to putting words to a song. As a family we regularly visit Cyprus and were pleased how many words and phrases we could recall. If you really want to learn a new language I would highly recomend this cd and wordbook. We are now investing in the French to help our son with his school work.
