Bought for use with Garmin etrex H handheld GPS unit
I bought this to enable me to connect Garmin etrex H GPS handheld unit to pc. This costs a fraction of the price of the Garmin's own converter cable and does the job just fine. There were no instructions that came with it but I found that the driver file 'HL-340.exe' installs the correct driver for use with XP. There was a driver under XP in another folder but this did not work. Once you know what driver to install it takes just seconds to connec the GPS unit - mine is working through memory-map.

We were hoping that it would do something other than what it was designed for (to connect an old drawing tablet to a laptop). It didn't, sadly. But it came promptly and was in good condition.
