Simply a MUST have for all AKT Candidates
Dr Ali has compiled a set of questions which offers a comprehensive assessment of any candidate, GP Trainer or indeed GP's knowledge of the clinical medicine, evidence-based practice and administrative issues required in general practice today and as covered by the nMRCGP Curriculum. This is an excellent collection of 250 MCQ questions, plus 53 algorithm questions and a further 29 pictorial questions that I strongly recommend to everyone preparing to sit the Applied Knowledge Test for the nMRCGP. This book is a MUST have for all GPStRs and GP Trainers .

Highly recommended!
Having searched high and low for a good book for AKT revision this one ticked all the boxes. There is a huge range of questions that cover not only the clinical aspects of primary care but also practice management. The answers are also incredibly detailed and informative so you don't end up having to refer to another textbook to find out where you went wrong. The tips on exam preparation and revision at the beginning are also worth a read. Definitely a good investment !
