Great first tablet!
This is the first tablet I have bought and on the whole, I am very pleased with it. I have used more expensive tablets at Uni and I find the difference in performance and quality to be minimal.

The installation was easy, with a simple 'insert disk, click the right buttons and go' installation. The product seems to be of a high quality too for the price. All of the settings are easily adjustable, including very easy set up of the free function keys.

The only negative comment I do have is that the mouse didn't work, but thats not why I bought it and the pen functions perfectly well as a pointing device anyways. It also seems that you need to press uncomfortable hard to achieve the greatest pressure makes with the pen.

Other than that, a great first tablet... I'm glad I didn't spend more as they can go much higher in price that this!

A very good tablet but not for Photoshop CS series!
I purchased this product specifically because I'd recently bought Photoshop CS4, and wanted to use a pen with it. I looked at Wacom tablets but the high price put me off. The Trust Slimline range caught my attention. I bought it and installed it (some initial problems were my own fault - it is REALLY IMPORTANT to remove any previous tablet drivers before installing a new one!!! Otherwise the pen just won't track properly) and was quite impressed. The nib can be set to be so sensitive that the slightest touch acts as a "left click" - this avoids the inaccuracies that can creep in if you have to actively 'tap' the nib to click. Tracking was pixel perfect, and using the pen to control Windows apps and programs like Paintshop Pro was a doddle: very intuitive. On the whole, I thoroughly recommend this tablet.

HOWEVER - I did get a shock and a disappointment when i came to try and use it to draw in Photoshop CS4. It doesn't. Period. You can use it to control menus and options, but it won't act as a drawing pen in CS4. I did some probing on the net and found that many CS4 users have the same complaint: it appears CS4 only supports Wacom tablets. Adobe's own help team admitted that this seemed to be the case. No fixes. This apparently applies to Photoshop CS2 and onwards.

So: a very good pen, but don't buy it if you're intending to use it with CS2, 3, or 4.

Good Tablet, But It Doesnt Need To Be So Big!
I bought this tablet to help me with my work on photoshop, as its much easier to draw with the hand than it is to draw with a mouse. The tablet is perfect for that and it works like a dream, the installation instructions are easy to follow and it only takes a couple of minutes. One drawback to this product is its size, while the area you can use the pen in is a very good size there is a seemingly needless amount of border round the whole tablet meaning that its bigger than it really needs to be.
Other than that the product is excellent suitable for all your drawing needs :)
