A superb learning aid, an essential spanish learners tool
As a concept this book is fantastic. 200 pages of articles in Spanish on interesting subjects, written in normal spanish. The secret is that the obvious vocabulary words (i.e phrases and specialist words) are highlighted and sequentially written down the side of the page. Therefore you don't have to tediously keep looking through a dictionary.

Thus you can either try to translate everything, or just get the jist. I would recommend for an intermediate stage in learning.

only if you know some spanish
this book is great value, if you have some spanish this book will realy help, but if you are just begining then this book will be of no use to you, the stories in the book are a great way to learn the language and will give you a head start with conversations on any way of life in Spain and south america.

An excellent addition for an intermediate or upper intermediate student to add to the classroom learning. Excellent extra curricular reading.
