Little more than an introductory chapter
A bit thin. The book does not give detail enough to do any more than think about repairing an existing system. More information such as choice and location of CH components and pipework considerations would be useful. I found the Wickes "how to" leaflet more useful.

Heating design not covered.
The book does not provide the information required to size a central heating system.
