In practicing lighting design for the past 20 plus years for the custom residential market, I realized that a book of this magnitude was critical to the forward progress of the industry. Lighting Design is one of the most exciting elements in homes today and it is equally rewarding when the client can witness and experience the fruits of the lighting designer's labors. Myself and others involved in this exclusive industry have largely been educators due to the fact that there was no forum.
