This is a very useful & interesting book covering many areas
This book was very useful while I was study Mechanical Engineering at Uni. It covers many areas in detail and has a lot to offer students studying any type of Engineering subject. The topics included in book include; material data, manufacturing processes and design information. Within each section there are diagrams and photos explaining parts of machines, processes and materials. There are also case studies of real components which I thought was a very good idea, as it makes understanding the topics much easier. The information is well presented and explained in easy terms, but it is also covered in great detail so you will not have to go looking in other books for information you require. Finally I found this book very interesting, there are not many books that you use in your studies that you find interesting to read outside lectures! I think a-must-have for Engineering students and it will still be useful after your studies when the real Engineering world beckons.
