Editorial Reviews
Tim Hilton, Independent on Sunday
"A remarkable and beautiful album. Aerial photographs are hardly ever inspiring, but these sing. They illuminate the vastness of a continent and its different cultures. There's a thoughtful, politically important commentary by the landscape architect James Corner."

Customer Reviews
The peak of aesthetics
This dream of aesthetics is a must for anyone - architect or not - interested in beauty and the arts of the landscape. With a birds eye view the book presents the motifs, of both the natural landscapes self-creation, and the (surprisingly good) work of man. It's no encyclopedia, but a poetic source of inspiration. The beautiful Airphotos (in color) reflects the patterns, colors, arts and aesthetics of the American Landscape. Alas, the Airphotos do not provide the spatial display, essential to the full architectural understanding! Even so, it is highly recommendable. Amazon only alows five crowns, so given. Bye it, its a joy to behold, and your bookcase a pride to possess.
