Product Description

We all know that true life-happiness doesn’t come from riches, fast cars, big houses and perfect partners – but where does it come from...? The answer lies in living our life purpose. In this groundbreaking book, Richard Jacobs explains that we each have our own individual purpose in life, but until we name it we can never really know what potential it can unleash in us. Finding our purpose is about finding a way of living which truly expresses our core values about life. Living to our purpose and sharing the best of ourselves is what brings us our greatest peace, happiness and fulfilment.

WHAT'S YOUR PURPOSE? is the first book to offer an effective means of discovering and defining your own life purpose. Through answering a series of seven unique and deeply revealing questions, you can distil a statement that encapsulates who you really are and what is most important to you. Once you’ve found it, this book will show you how to formulate ways to put your new-found purpose to action, as well as to develop motivational techniques to keep you on track for living a life that is entirely true to yourself.

Customer Reviews

It took me 2 hours to articulate my purpose5
I have been thinking a lot about my purpose in life but couldn t really articulate it in a simple way - I followed Richard s process and answered his 7 questions - I had a great time and it really helped me understand what really mattered to me: in 2 hours, I simply and joyfully (which was a surprise) got my purpose in a sentence of less than 15 words - I m very grateful for that - I found the book extremely agreable to read and enlightening. I would recommend it to anyone who is ready to live the life they were meant to live and want to find out how.

Very disappointing.1
More of the same old same old here, I'm afraid. Seven questions that the author claims will help you find your Purpose in around an hour. Sound too good to be true? That's because it is. The first question, divided into 3 parts, I couldn't answer. So I guess that makes the rest of the questions (and book) worthless. I doubt I'm the first and only person to stumble at the first three hurdles but Mr Jacobs chooses not to address this issue. If he really is the wunderkind he so often claims to be then surely he would be aware of the limitations/difficulty of this question. Apparently not. Some of the other questions confirmed what Myers-Briggs and other assesments have told me about my values and personality. Unfortunately, knowing your values and personality is a million miles aways from knowing your Purpose and building your life around it. If you don't know your Purpose you are very unlikely to find it here. 0/10.

One of the best books I've read5
It's clear, to the point, interesting and gets the job done.

I've read a lot of self-help books and usually they take a long time to give one or two key messages. This book helped me find the answers I needed for myself. It's as if the book was written for me. I am very grateful to it. Things are really changing for me because my perspective has shifted.

Thanks.
