Lori Foster's latest easily meets expectations5
This is the fourth novel from Lori Foster set in the world of the Supreme Battle Championship (SBC), her UFC-inspired Mixed Martial Arts organisation. If you haven't read the previous books, don't worry, you don't need to, but for fans who have, several familiar characters pop up.

The hero is Simon Evans, tagged 'Sublime' by female fans back in his fighting days. We start with Simon retired from fighting, having developed a successful second career as a trainer/manager for another fighter, Havoc. Simon is enjoying life with his girlfriend of five years, when he comes home one day to discover she is cheating on him. Since his father walked out when he was a baby, he values trust and fidelity highly, and leaves her without a backward glance.

To focus his mind, he decides to make a comeback in the SBC, and switches jobs with Havoc, taking on the role of pupil to Havoc's trainer. His training schedule is interrupted by the arrival of mysterious and outspoken Dakota Dream, claiming to have been sent by his real father, who wishes to meet him. Dakota has plenty of secrets and skeletons in her closet, and her outspoken nature is hiding a multitude of scars, physical and psychological.
When her life starts being threatened, can Simon keep her safe, from the bad guys and her past?

This book has all Lori Foster's trademark sensuality, meticulous attention to detail, especially in the MMA details, and the vivid characterisations readers of her previous novels will have come to expect. In Simon Evans, she has also created a hero who could rival the infamous Joe Winston as a reader's favourite!

This book has it all, mystery, secrets, pain and love....5
I am a great fan of lori foster and as always was not disappointed this time. In Simon Says, Dakota Dream is hired by her step-father who is a worm (nicest thing I can think to call him) to track down the son he walked out on years ago who happens to be 'Simon Evans' known as 'Sublime' an ex-fighter turned trainer/manager who seems to have it all money, friends, family and a great girl until he finds out his girl has cheated on him and decides to go back into the ring. When Dakota shows up and tries to give him fighting technique advice he is not sure what to make of her other than he wants to bed her. But when attempts are made on her life he steps in to offer protection. This book is a great read and my heart went out to Dakota and what she had suffered at the hands of her ex-husband and cruel taunts and emotional blackmail from her step-father, but she's learned how to fight and with the help from Simon and his friends she learns more which ultimately will save her.

Sublime indeed!!5
I love this series!! I love the fighting descriptions, I love the men, and I adore the women - they are ballsy, got major strength and deserve the men that they get!

Simon is sexy - seriously sexy - but it's the whole package. The gym members, Barber, seeing Havoc and Gregor again. I really can't recommend this book enough, but make darn sure you get the others too!!
