Fun games once prepared.
This book contains 10 different games looking at different aspects of word building including long and short vowels, synonyms, antonyms and blends..
There is a lot of initial preparation required in terms of photocopying, colouring, laminating etc but the games are fairly straightforward and children would be able to play them in small groups by themselves. The games are varied enough that children will not get bored when looking at different skills. They also vary from matching activities to moving round a board and collecting cards.
The book provides all the cards, pieces and board that you need to play and is good value.
