Customer Reviews
The doyen of Landscape Lighting
Janet Moyer is the doyen of Landscape Lighting having spent the majority of her career on the West Coast and now teaching in New York discovering the effect of real winter and snow on landscape lighting!
This book is a comprehensive review of the practise of landscape lighting, not like many books a self congratulatory review of projects by the author. This book uses not just the authors work but uses many designers projects and design information and is laid out in chapters covering project and technical detail including many helpful drawings and sketches providing useful information for developing your own work.
In short this is an excellent example of what lighting design books should be, more than a bare list of technical information or a monograph on a particular designer but a comprehensive and helpful guide to specific aspects of lighting design.
Superb, comprehensive content
This book has provided all the detail I need to read and review the knowledge required to create fantastic light plans, through to the completion of a project.
Well written and illustrated, the author, authoritively conveys her detailed knowledge and experiences of lighting landscapes.
By far, the the most useful and comprehensive title on the subject.
