an Absolutely Super Purchase! (ASP)5
This book is well worth the money! It is one of the cheapest books of its genre but justifies itself above any of the typical 'pocket guides' as it gives a complete picture of ASP. It covers everything you need to know in just the right level of detail, including what you require to write and view ASP pages and how they work.

Before buying this book I knew HTML inside out and a small understanding of VBscript. Now, just 3 weeks later I can put together dynamic web pages using ASP which not only look good but work well.

I have to say this is the best book on my 'internet bookshelf' and I am planning to buy the sequel on E-commerce programming in ASP and one on Javascript too.

I promise you won't be disappointed with this book. All you need to know is a bit of HTML and to have read this book to produce some great webpages.

I thoroughly recommmend it 100%.

A must for any ASP beginner5
This book lives up to the reviews on this page. Mitchell and Atkinson, the authors do a great job. I have been reading this book for 2 weeks now and I feel like I have been an asp expert for years! Its that good, and its clear and easy to pick up from beginner to intermediate levels
If you want to use ASP, this is the book to buy, just read the reviews - they ain't wrong..

How good??... Just read.5
An example of how good this book really is. I bought the book to help me with my dissertation, within 2 weeks, I had written an ASP based web-site that not only worked... but worked WELL.

I recommended this book to a couple of friends who were also doing their dissertations. All of whom passed with EXCELLENT grades.

How good? Well... here are the grades of the people I know used the book: I got a first, as did 4 of my friends, which left one other friend who got a 2.i (with a EXTREMELY high mark).

I still use the book, my friend still use the book (and he works as a web developer) and overall it has helped us all get to where we want.

So how good? VERY good.
