excellent guide to relief printmaking
Relief Printmaking by Ann Westley is an excellent book. It is both a history of relief printmaking and a presentation of many works that fall under this banner of printing. It is also an excellent 'how to' guide for making relief prints.
A really good book for anyone who wants to know about the practice of relief printmaking or someone who wishes to set up a studio and attempt their own prints.The book could have gone into greater depth but then it would have been a whole different volume.
