LUCY AT THE MOVIES-is a wonderful large book on the American legendary comedienne actress-LUCILLE BALL-[1911-1989]who was in her heyday a stunningly beautiful woman.
The book itself has some 360 plus pages,is lavishly illustrated with so many stunning black and white and colour photographs,detailing from Lucille's childhood,through her great film career.Lucille Ball made over eighty[80]films,over five decades,starting of as a film "extra" or small parts in films from 1933,gradually making a name for herself by the end of the 1930s.She also had in the 1950s/1960s successful TV series,including-I LOVE LUCY-,which was made inbetween her film roles.
All of her films that she has made are fully detailed,including some also showing reproductions of film poster art,which in that era,was a great work of artistic talent that went into producing film posters.
For fans of Lucille Ball,this most excellent book is a MUST HAVE.
This books authoress,Cindy De La Hoz,has also written two other equally excellent books,on two other beautiful legendary actresses,LANA TURNER and MARILYN MONROE.

Lovely book on a great star
I saw this on a lucy website and thought I'd treat myself. I'm really glad I bought it, it's lavishly illustrated throughout, the design both cover and internally is gorgeous, it's just a really nice book for any fan of lucy or of classic hollywood. Lovely
