Customer Reviews

Value for money5
For such a small book, this is a remarkably complete overview of airbrushing materials and techniques. Clearly written and immediately to the point, it provides a fast overview to the novice of what airbrushing is all about, and it contains some very nice examples and exercises that will inspire the more advanced airbrush artist. Pity of the small format, the whole would benefit from a larger print, as some of the projects are certainly worth having a closer look at.

Should have got this one first!5
I bought 4 books on airbrushing, the first two I bought whilst filled with inspiring ideas did little to show the new airbrush user how on earth to start. Bemused I bought two more....

Thankfully this book got down to basics of the equipment and techniques, definitely the best place to start and I agree with the other review above saying for such a small book it is incredibly concise.

So don't waste as much money as I did, buy this one to know what to do with the equipment and Radu Vero's complete studio handbook to get professional ideas, although if you are new like me, you will be using this one for a long time yet!

EXCELLENT BOOK - BUY IT!

Don't bother with this one - there's better available at Amazon2
As a newcomer to the airbrush I purchased this book in the hope of some practical guidance. What I found was a badly translated and a feeble attempt at explaining airbrushing techniques (the original book was written in Spanish - and it shows). However, there are some lovely photographs with some great artwork towards the back of the book. If you are a starter to airbrushing I strongly suggest you buy the Complete Studio Handbook Bk.1 which covers everything from beginner to advanced [...].
