Homage to the Master
For many a fashionista the date January 7th 2002 was a day that shocked and stunned, for the Monsiuer Saint Laurent gracefully announced his retirement for the world of couture. This book was released about a week later along with another "YSL, La Naissance d'une Legende" and I have to say that '5 avenue Marceau' is the superior book. It's shows the reader an indeep retrospective of the career of the last great couturier, displaying an artistic vision and step-by-step genenus of his work. A truely fasinating read with great detail about the shy man who has dressed the world.
