Customer Reviews
Very helpful and informative
As a new parent investigating the possibilities of home education, this book has definitely opened my mind; it gives practical advice mingled with real life examples of how to apply it in a surprisingly unbiased way. Other books on home education I have read are quick to point out negative aspects of school but "Educating Your Child at Home" simply points out the differences between home and school and leaves the parents to decide.
The book also explains how home education changes with the growth of the child and how to accomodate his or her educational needs. It is a valuable resource to any parent considering home education!
