Just to show everyone has their good point
As with the other books in the series, the rhymes are brilliant, really fun and would appeal to children old and young. The pictures are simple and colourful, which would really attract a younger child. Writting is quite big so easy to read for the younger reader (and also those whose sight isn't what it used to be!) Great book top read to a child, and for the child to grow into as they learn to read. The story is about a greedy slug who goes about eating anything and everything that is green, and getting into trouble and upsetting people on his way. Until a kindly farmer gives him a job keeping the pests at bay! - So another story to show that things that might not seem so nice still have thier good points
