From another view ...
Being an Ardent Peretti fan, Tilly is a change from his usual seat gripping stuff. BUT! is a book that sensitively and emotionally challenges the reader to consider the issues involved in abortion from an all too often neglected viewpoint.
Forgiveness after abortion
Kathy, a married woman with three children, meets the child she hadaborted 9 years before. Tilly shares with her God's message offorgiveness, reconcilation and restoration.
And at hte end Kathy canmake her peace with God and Tilly, and cherrish the memories of her.
The book is written with much empathy. It made me cry when I read it. Itdoes not put the women who have choosen abortion in a bad light. It isquite a thin book, easy to read in 1 1/2 hours.
It is good for any age. By teenagers (as a warning) and by adults (as aray of hope).
A story written with much empathy for the mother/parents who still sufferfrom the abortion years later.
You must read this book!!
This book is absolutely amazing!! It is a must have for everyone out there, not owning this book should be a criminal offence!
It isn't as gripping as some of his other stuff, but as always Peretti shows his immense skills as an author in this book. It's short so is a great introduction to Peretti for those of you that aren't very big readers. But be warned, if like me you shed a tear easily, this book is likely to make you cy. It is emotional and shows a side to abortion not often thought about, but shows it very well.
GO BUY!!!
