FULL OF GREAT PICTURES5
I bought this book for my mum, who is taking Ikebana classes but doesn't speak english. So I was looking for something with a lot of pictures. I searched the Amazon but all the reviews on Ikebana books were not very helpful on that respect. So I decided to write this review. I chose this book because it looked nice and the author has a lot of bibliography on the subject. AND IT WAS THE BEST CHOICE!!! The book is FULL of coloured pictures and step-by-step instructions and even step-by-step pictures of the instructions! It's so "picture-explanative" that you don't have to read a word to get it right. It's very inviting and once you get it in your hands you can't put it down.
I would strongly recommend it to anyone-except perhaps to the few iterested on Ikebena history, symbolism etc. This is a D.I.Y. book from the beginning to the end, full of great, simple ideas that anyone can use. Also very important: My mum loved it -and me :-)

Very good book5
The book shows lots of different variations for cool vases or containers as well. The step-by-step is helpful and quite detailed. Many ikebana books shows a very traditional way of arranging flower. This book, however, shows a simpler and more modern way arrangement with the result of nice and unusual looks of flower arrangement.

ikebana is easy!5
Beautiful pictures and great ideas to create a "modern" ikebana!
The book is full of step by step to create your first flower art decoration very easily. At the end of it you can find a few pages dedicated to the art of cutting, the different style of ikebana, a glossary, the tools used and a rich bibliography list.
