Full of Information
This is a well writing book aimed at the novice parrot owner. it has the right mix of advice on health care feeding and training, that someone new to bird keeping needs to know.The information in this book has been well thought out by Julie, I look forward to reading more of her work.

An essential read before you get your Parrot
I am so glad that I bought this book when I was thinking about owning an African Grey. This book is geared for the novice owner of an African Grey and contains substantial amounts of information on the Parrot's anatomy,feeding, grooming, behaviour and general care. If your thinking about purchasing an African Grey buy this book as it is packed full of usefull information. It will help you make you mind up whether an African Grey is the right pet for you.

the african grey
Jasper,my congo african grey and i have read the african grey page to page and enjoyed every little bit of it. Jasper loved looking at pictures - lol.

As with many books on parrots i was expecting this one to be much the same with many contradictions against each other.I was pleasantly surprised at how interesting this book is and didn't put it down for ages,i wanted to keep on reading and learnt a great deal more about our feathered friends.

This book won't stay on my shelf for long,that's a fact.
