Don't leave home without this book this summer!
This book is a must have for every family this summer. While financial belts are being tightened - this fabulous book gives us all the information we need enjoy days out visiting the best gardens across the length and breadth of Scotland. I keep mine in the glove compartment of the car - so when I'm out for the day I can always find a special garden to visit in the area I'm in. Most of the gardens have something for everyone, some even have special children's events or plant sales. So if you are interested in knowing what's over the other side of the wall - or if you are just an intersted amateur gardener then this book will be a must have for you. It contains all the information that you will need, including directions, opening times, garden information, cost, etc. The other thing to remember is that by visiting these gardens you are helping charities througout Scotland as all moneys raised go to support a wind range of charities - surely a worthy activity in this time of financial crisis.
My advice??? DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT THIS SUMMER!!!
A "must have" for all garden lovers, outdoor people and families.
A 'must have' book for all garden lovers, outdoors people and families. This little book is a gem clearly setting out gardens throughout Scotland that are open to the public on specific days of the year, with information on location, accessibility, plants sales, teas etc. Entrance fees are noted to be modest and monies received given to charitable causes. My copy is a permanent resident of the coffee table and ensures the diary is noted for some delightful days out admiring lovely and interesting gardens.
